Artist Name:  Arthur Black
Hometown:  Nashville, Tennessee. I’m currently based in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

What project(s) are you currently working on?

I’m promoting my debut single, “Naggin’,” and its official music video while developing my six-song debut EP. “Naggin'” takes a humorous look at everyday relationship dynamics, and the EP explores more sides of me through love, longing, confidence, and storytelling.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music and when did you know?

I started writing and singing around age 15. It began with joking around with friends. The 1990s were a huge time for music, and the different genres of that era influenced me. What started as fun became a way to express myself and tell stories.

If you weren’t pursuing a career in music, what would you be doing for a living?

Running my AI company full time and traveling the globe.

What is your favorite downtime activity?

Writing music, creating systems with AI, playing basketball, and spending time with my family.

Who is your biggest celebrity crush?

Tems and Doja Cat.

Who is your favorite sports team(s)?

The Tennessee Titans.

What is the last movie that you watched?

The newest Spider-Man movie.

What is the last album you listened to?

Mobb Deep — Infinite.

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Michael Jackson — Bad.

What is the greatest country song of all time?

“Don’t Rock the Jukebox” by Alan Jackson.

What has been your favorite city/town that you’ve visited out on the road?

Dangriga, Belize.

What is your favorite meal?

Lasagna.

Who is your dream duet partner?

Jay-Z.

Who would you like to go on tour with?

Jay-Z and Beyoncé.

What is your ultimate career goal(s)?

To be known as one of the greatest artists country music has ever seen.
